He is a co-author of the award-winning Open Strategy. Mastering Disruption From Outside The C-suite and Enduring Success. What We Can Learn From The History Of Outstanding Corporations, a Forbes columnist, regular media guest, and Harvard Business Review author. In 2023, he wrote the most-read Sloan Management Review article explaining how leaders can use GenAI in business strategies. He wrote about Rolls-Royce and VW and had the CEOs in his class.
We need to harness the full potential and involve partners and staff in the design and implementation of strategies. Business strategy is most often underestimated, where only a few are involved, instead of opening it up and using more stakeholders. Businesses would become more inclusive and more successful in realising their potential.

The growing number of trouble spots around the world – whether due to natural and climatic disasters, poverty or war and the resulting refugee flows – as well as the growing need for housing, made this vision a mission. Its mission is to attract international concessionaires and cooperation partners for SMARTER HABITAT and, as “spiritus rector”, to further develop the business model in all areas – always with the aim of creating a modern social-humanitarian and globally active company. The aim: to create building materials from “green” bio-based materials and agricultural waste that can be produced regionally in large quantities, cost and energy-efficiently, and installed quickly and easily.
